Short Version:

Ellen Violette’s writing career began when she started writing a journal in junior high school. She went on to write poetry for a senior project in high school that earned her an A, and that’s when she knew she was hooked. She continued to write for various non-profit groups in college and beyond, eventually becoming a copywriter/editor/layout person and Grammy-nominated songwriter.

After 17 years in the music business, she fell into real-estate investing, but her heart wasn’t in it. Her real-estate career eventually led her to the Internet, where she began pursuing her true dream - to write books. In the process, she discovered ebooks and while on her own journey discovered that she could find a better way to help others become successful authors, as well. That led to her becoming The eBook Coach.

Today, Ellen teaches authors, speakers, coaches, and entrepreneurs to write ebooks in 72 hours or less using a simple straight forward process that she created. She then teaches them how to build an Internet business from the ground up, marketing ebooks and other information products with an easy-to-follow step-by-step system, while cutting the learning curve by 50 to 75% and teaching them the quickest ways to start generating income on the Internet.

Ellen has been able to get aspiring and/or frustrated authors to write an ebook even if they’ve been trying for years with no success! Her popular electronic newsletter called "The eBook Profit Secrets Newsletter" goes to more than 8,000 subscribers worldwide and includes the best-ebook writing articles, advice, and tips you'll find anywhere. She lives with her husband and sometime collaborator, Christen Violette, in Woodland Hills, a suburb of Los Angeles.
