Happy Holidays!

With so much going on, I have a lot to tell you!

We went to the Christmas Boat Show in the harbor, which is right down the street from us, before Christmas and it was magical! We sat on the rocks and it got me in the spirit! (That’s one of my favorite things to do at Christmas.)

I love the traditions and  the pageantry of it all, but not the commercialism.  In fact I did all my Christmas shopping on December 23rd in one fell swoop!

Anyway, you know how kids are.....they are totally into the commercialism of it - as in "where are my presents?"!  My 16-year-old  niece and nephew (the twins) would have killed for an IPOD, but I bought them regular old mp3 players - was that last year or the year before? I can't remember..

But the point is....luckily, I didn't even get the chance to give it to them.- their Grandpa on their mother's side gave them each one and the kids said the mp3 players "sucked," so I took the mp3 players back and gave gift cards! I didn't want to be the uncool aunt!

But they always want to see us at Christmas - although we rarely see them the rest of the year - because they want to see what they are going to get from us! This year two are getting clothes and one a travel kit because he's in the band and traveling all over playing - it's in the genes! I'm sure they'll be thrilled (just kidding).

But here's what excites me - giving to charity and seeing others do the same. I made my yearly donation to Toys for Tots and want to thank everyone who contributed by purchasing a "Wake UP" ebook. I've decided to save 10% all year from the sales of those books for next year! (www.wakeupfreedom.com) They do great work - every child should have at least one toy for the holiday season!

I also love the work Brad  Pitt is doing in New Orleans - building homes for displaced families from Katrina.  (www.makeitrightnola.org) That’s what really excites me - making a difference.

I'm also really excited about  writing more ebooks with some of you (Check your emails for details) and launching The eBook Nook. That will be very exciting!

Each and every ebook author will be able to apply to joint venture with us. Only QUALITY ebooks will be approved and it's a win for everybody. It will give the public confidence to purchase, it will give us all exposure and more ebook sales! So party hearty and meet me back here after the holidays 'cause you don't want to miss what's coming!

2. Create an ebook bundle for a holiday or special and offer it for $1. Also offer along with the ebook, a month trial in your membership club. The average person stays in the club after the trial period, so it’s a great source of recurring income for you!

3. Do a virtual ebook tour. A virtual ebook tour is where you discuss your ebook and sell it on a teleseminar. They can also be done on blogs, but teleseminars sell a lot more ebooks!
