Did you know that not all browsers
are the same? And I don't just mean in how they
operate. When you are designing your webpage,
newsletter, or anything that you are posting online, be
aware that it will look different depending on what
browser is being used. (The three most popular browsers are
Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, and Mozilla
Firefox.)
The same goes for viewing pages on
different monitors. Older monitors do not support
all the colors that the newer ones do.
So when you are creating pages, it
is a good idea to see what they will look like on
different browsers and monitors. One way to do this is
to send it to a friend or colleague and then look at it
on their computer. You can also install a second
browser on your own computer.
Whether you are creating pages
yourself or have paid a designer, you want to be sure
that your "creation" will be seen the way you
want it presented.

Writing Mistakes That
Will Torpedo Your Success
- If
you think that what you have to offer is for everyone, you will
fail because you can’t market to everyone.
As a small business person you won’t have the resources
to target everyone and you will go broke. You can make a lot
more money catering to a small group of people called a target
market. So focus on a niche where you can easily reach a
particular market that is interested in what you have to offer.
- Just
because you love your idea for your next ebook, don’t think
that everybody will - do the research. Make sure a target market
loves your idea before you move forward or you will just be
wasting your time, money and energy on your ebook.
- Make
sure you study your competition. It’s impossible to know what
you have to offer that is different from what is already
available if you don’t know what’s out there.
- If
you focus on yourself and what you want to give instead of on
your target market and what they want, it will sabotage your
success.
- Failing
to test your titles is a fatal mistake. You may come up with a
title that you love, but if it doesn’t capture the imagination
of your target market, it won’t sell ebooks! On the other
hand, a great title can make your ebook a best seller!
A great example is Tim
Ferris’s book, "The 4 Hour Work Week." He intended to
call it "The Vagabond Millionaire." But after testing the
market online, he found that "The 4 Hour Work Week" is
what his target market wanted, and the rest is history
- Failing
to figure out what purpose your ebook will serve in your
business. If you don’t know what you want your ebook to do for
you, confusion can easily set it.
You need to be clear about your purpose to write an ebook
that does what you want it to do and to come up with the right
title, chapter headings, and angle for your ebook.
- Failing
to create an outline. When you create an outline, it lays out
the pieces so you can see what you have to work with.
By doing this, you might discover that rather than one
ebook, it’s really two or three ebooks or that it would work
better as a series. When
you create an outline it creates clarity and makes it a lot
easier to write a successful ebook!

A:
The most important thing you need to do write a successful
ebook needs to happen before you ever start to write. Your
first step to ensure success is to research your subject to be sure
that there is a target market for the ebook you are offering.

A: If
you're just starting out and have an ebook, but not a website, you
can sell your ebook on the following sites:
