If you want to get more done in less time you need to
put systems in place.
One of the biggest time burners is reading email.
In order to cut down on the time you spend reading email
here are two things you can do right now.
1. Start opting out of every list where you find you
never read the emails anyway!
2. Then become more discerning about which lists you
opt in to.
This seems obvious but most people don't do it. They
just continue to let extraneous emails flood their inbox
and
spend countless hours filing them!
Get real honest with yourself and you'll become a lot
more productive overnight!

It's been a pretty trying month. My
computer crashed on Friday the thirteenth, and then again last
week. My web person quit for a contract job, Daleen, my
assistant redefined her job which no longer includes customer
service. And my new assistant won't be on board until August
7th. Plus, Christen, my husband, got Shingles which has been
extremely debilitating. I did find a fabulous new web
person but I've still been having to juggle way to much so there
have been more glitches than usual and for that I apologize.
Also, I want to thank all of you who have
been sending me information and remedies for Shingles and for
your prayers. Everything has helped, and Christen is doing
much better now. They are not gone but the pain has been
greatly reduced and we are very grateful for that!
And one more thing.....it's really hot in
the summer where we live-about 20 degrees hotter than on the
westside where I grew up and I couldn't stand it anymore so I
cut my hair off yesterday morning!
I haven't had short hair since I was a kid and I knew I would regret it
after I did it. But so far, I'm thrilled with it. I had
Christen take a before and after so you could see. But if you
like the before better, please don't email me. I don't
want to know! Thanks!

How To Create
Your eBook
Without Writing A Single Word!
If you want to create an ebook but writing one
just seems too difficult, you can talk it! That’s why I always say
if you can talk you can write an ebook! Here are 4 ways you can
create your ebook and never write a single word!
1. You can give a teleseminar, record and
transcribe it or have it transcribed for you. To get started, decide
what your topic is and get a bridge line. Decide on a date and time.
Figure out if you want it to be a monologue or a dialogue. If it’s a
dialogue find a partner. Then, invite people to your teleseminar.
If you need a script write one. If you
just need bullet points, write them down and keep them in front of
you, then go from there.
And always make sure you have a back up
recording because if magic happens you won’t be able to recapture
it! And then have it transcribed. (It’s much too time consuming for
most people to do this themselves.)
2. You can talk it into a tape recorder and
have it transcribed. You can pick up a tape recorder very
inexpensively, buy a tape, and just start talking. Again, if you’re
more comfortable following a script write one out, or use an
outline.

Q: How
many words should I shoot for with my ebook?
A:
Authors worry way too much about the number of words they will need
for their ebooks. Instead, if you are doing it from a teleseminar,
one hour of monologue is about 30 pages of text. One hour of
dialogue is about 40 pages of text. So I'd shoot for 3 hours of text
for a monologue and 2 hours of text minimum for a dialogue.
If you are
writing from scratch. I would try to have 6 to 8 chapters. And then
figure out how many points you want per chapter and then how many
pages you think you will write per point. That way you can determine
how long you want the ebook to be and then fill in the blanks.
