It's been a great couple of months! We cracked the mid 5-figure income mark for the first time in March. So thank you, because we couldn't have done it without your support!

Now we're into May! Can you believe it! It always goes so fast! And May is always a great month for me because it's my anniversary on May 8th. Actually it's May 5th and May 8th! We got married twice! It's a long story.

But it's always festive because it's Cinco De Mayo! And I just had a birthday.  And you know what my husband did for me?
He cleaned up the living room (where he camps out!), bought some flowers and made me dinner and it was fabulous!

   5 Easy Ways To Create Profitable eBooks Now!

Writing ebooks is a MUST if you want to increase your credibility and expert status online, make more money in all areas of your business, stomp your competition  and create a profitable  Internet/information business.

80% of people believe they have a book or ebook in them, but less than 1% will actually write one! That means that just by authoring an ebook you will elevate your status and be seen as an authority automatically. Think about it; the word "author" comes from the word "authority" and when you are an authority, doors open and opportunities abound and your business will start to EXPLODE!

The problem is, writing an ebook can be overwhelming. If you’ve never written an ebook and don’t know how to get started, or if you hate to write, or don’t know how to write, here are 5 ways to jump-start your authoring career online immediately.

1. Write a series of articles and compile them into an ebook or have someone else do it for you from already existing content like a manual, homestudy course, or teleseminar.  Or compile other people’s articles into an ebook. It’s really simple!

2. Find a work in the public domain that is still relevant to people (you can find this out by doing a keyword search), write an introduction and you’ll have an ebook, one-two-three!

Q: How do I choose my niche? I'm passionate about everything!

A: Just because you are passionate about something doesn't mean that you will be able to succeed with it.  You also have to look at your skill set and see where your passion and skill set overlap. 

Then you have to find a target market that wants what you are passionate about and good at. When you find something that addresses all 3 of these concerns, and you may find 3 or 4 of them, then you can decide which path you want to take.  Shoot for the one that is the "lowest hanging fruit" that's where you have the best chance for success.

Q: How do you write an ebook to avoid refunds?

A: Refunds are a fact of life and you will never avoid them completely. But if you get more than 7% of your sales returned then you need to write a better ebook!

But the best way to cut way down on your refunds is to write an ebook that gives great content. And make sure that the title reflects what you are actually writing about in your ebooks. 

Now, I have very few refunds on any of my products because I always try to over-deliver, but here's an example of a product of mine that has had a few more refunds than my other products. 

I have a two-part audio download called The Truth About eBooks (13 steps to writing a massively profitable ebook that the experts don't tell you) In this audio I give people the 13 steps and then I talk about how to distribute your ebook.

I also go into how to turn it into a traditional book.  Once in a while someone gets upset because I included this information in the ebook because they ONLY wanted to know about ebooks. But the truth is in this day and age you should have both an ebook and a book.

So always give great content. Under-promise and over-deliver. Be transparent about what you plan to cover in your ebook and you should reduce your refunds to a minimum.

Q: How can a beginner drive ENOUGH traffic to the sales page without a list and without spending a fortune on PPC? (Finding good JV partners is not so easy for beginners with no track-record and nothing else to offer.)
 
A. First of all, always remember that you DO have something to offer-your expertise, and many list owners need more content than they can generate. That doesn't mean that you won't get turned down a lot in the beginning because you will, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't try, either. 

It does help to have your ebook written, because that helps make you more of an authority and will get you booked with more joint venture partners than without one.
