Happy Halloween!

When you receive this we will have moved from our house in Woodland Hills (northwest of Los Angeles) to Redondo Beach (south bay) a half a block from the beach (not too shabby)!

We didn’t really want to move, but we bought our house in Woodland Hills to flip originally and got caught in the real estate downturn, so we moved in and then we fell in love with it and we had wanted to buy a house anyway. But it was a huge nut every month, so finally we walked away.

Real Estate has been very good to us over the last ten years, but we really blew it on this one! The truth is that I was naïve. I thought even if the market went south it would be no big deal, even though the house cost us about ¾ of a million dollars.

I was growing my business every month and from what I’d heard about making money on the Internet and because I believed in the laws of attraction, I was SURE it would be fine. I’m not complaining; as I said, I’ve already made a 6-figure income this year and I continue to grow my business every year, but this mortgage was still A LOT!

Why am I telling you this? Because I can’t tell you how many people have called me up wanting to take my courses, telling me how they lost a lot of money from bad investments and worthless courses and they’re afraid to take another chance.

We spent a lot of money, too, and part of why we bought the house in the first place was pressure from a coaching course to do something in real estate while we were in the course, and it was the wrong move. But the point is that we all make mistakes and you can give up or you can keep persevering.

And, I want you to know you are not alone. I want you to know that my system really does work. I have success stories every day, including my own. I want you to know there is still hope!

You CAN make really good money online, but be realistic. It may not happen as quickly as you’d like and then again, it might. But as long as you keep moving forward, you can get there! So hang in!

Many people are terrified of public speaking. In fact, more people are afraid of public speaking than they are of death! So he started using teleseminars to sell books/ebooks. I believe he helped Harv McKay sell over 3,000 books on a teleseminar! And what is true for book selling online is also true for ebooks!

2. Teleseminars have a much higher conversion rate than a sales page, because people buy from you when they know you, like you, and trust you. A teleseminar is much more intimate than the written word. People get to hear you and bond with you in a way that they can’t do with just words.

3. It’s MUCH cheaper to do teleseminars than it is to travel around the country talking to groups of people. You can do teleseminars from the comfort of your own home....

Living The Wisdom of the Tao

This book is one of those books that you can keep on your coffee table or by your bedside. It’s beautifully done and is divided into 81 verses that are meant to be consumed one verse at a time. They are Dyers interpretation of the teachings of Lao-tzu, a  prophet who lived 500 years before Jesus and are “regarded by many as the ultimate commentary on the nature of our existence” according to the book’s inside cover.

Dyer spent one full year reading, researching and meditating on Lao-tzu’s  message and then writing down his insights and the thought that went into each verse is obvious when you read it.  This sounds a little esoteric but when you pick up the book you can feel the positive energy around it- it’s quite profound.

Each verse starts with a poetic synopsis of the verse that is very moving and then goes on to explain each lesson. I believe that if we can learn the lessons of the Tao that It will lead to more success in our ebook/information businesses.

For instance under “Living Contentment” It states that “overvaluing possessions and accomplishments steam from our ego’s fixation on getting more-wealth, belongings, status, power or the like”. And that rather than seeking more if we practice gratitude for what we have, we will have a lot more contentment and that “we must replace personal desires with the Tao-centered question “How may I serve?”

Ironically  the better you become at serving others, the more money you will make with your ebooks and information products because the better you serve people (i.e. give people what they want and need) the more  you succeed! After each lesson there is an exercise that you can do to incorporate the lesson into your life.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is seeking the path to success not only in their business but in life. It also makes a great gift!
